HyperOS how to enable floating window mode for any application

HyperOS supports floating window modes which allows you to have a small window of an application always on the screen. This feature has been supported by Android for a long time and the same has been made available for HyperOS also.

This article will give you the steps for activating floating window mode for any app that supports it.

Step 1:Press the square button if you are using navigation bar or drag and drop from the bottom if you are using gestures.

Step 2: Hold and press the first app you want to display as split screen,

 

Step 3: This will bring a pop up like below and select the third option,

This will bring the application which supports into floating window mode.

You can click on the three dots on the floating window to resize, move or close the window.

Kindly note that this working only on the default launcher and did not work on Nova launcher. Do check and let me know if it working for your favourite launcher.
